The worship of God is our primary priority. Jesus declared that the greatest commandment was to "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength."

Worship is much more than just coming to church on any given Sunday morning and singing, praying, reading scripture and listening to a message. That's corporate worship. It's really a celebration of all the individual kinds of worship that have been going on all week. 2 Corinthians 5:9 says, "So we make it our goal to please him." Everything we do is to be understood as something that can please God. Romans 12:1 says, "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - which is your spiritual worship."

In other words, when we live God's way we are worshipping him. That means that pretty much anything we do can either be an act of worship or something that takes away from our worship of God. To please God is to worship God. Life is to be an act of worship.

Our desire at Bonavista Church is to create an environment in which people will encounter the living God and respond to Him in worship. We want to produce true worshippers, people who recognize and acknowledge God in every aspect of life.

As a worship ministry, we hope to create impactful worship services that move people into a deeper experience of Christ.
